Why we stopped recommending all-inclusive package tours
There's a place for them, but they're not what most of our clients actually want.
We used to sell more all-inclusive packages than we do today. Not because they’re bad — they’re not — but because most of the people who come to us want something they can’t get from a package: a trip built around them.
Where packages still make sense
- Beach holidays where you genuinely don’t want to think about anything.
- Family trips with young kids where logistics matter more than novelty.
- Short city breaks where the value is hard to beat.
Where they don’t
- Anywhere the experience is the point — safaris, food-led trips, anything cultural.
- Multi-country itineraries.
- Honeymoons. (Trust us.)
When in doubt, ask: would you rather have someone else’s idea of a great trip, or yours?
